CRSI Music Studio
The CRSI Music Studio offers a one-of-a-kind, person-centered music experience tailored to the interests, abilities, and goals of each participant. Our program focuses on age-appropriate opportunities, creative expression, and community inclusion through music. Whether someone is exploring music for the first time or has years of experience, our Studio provides a welcoming space to learn, perform, and grow.
Program Highlights:

Music Therapy & Therapeutic Music Lessons
Led by a licensed music therapist, these group sessions promote emotional expression, communication, and personal growth through music. -
Vocal & Instrumental Performance
Participants can explore singing or learn to play instruments in both group and solo settings. -
Drum Circles & Percussion Workshops
Hands-on sessions featuring professional-grade Pearl Djembe drums, facilitated by a professional drummer and music therapist. -
Guitar Workshops
Taught by graduate interns from the NYU Music Therapy Program, these workshops focus on technique, creativity, and musical enjoyment. -
Digital Music Lab
A state-of-the-art learning space where participants can use modern Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like GarageBand and Logic Pro to create beats, record, and produce their own original music. -
Integrated Community Performances
Participants have the opportunity to take part in public performances, including grand piano events featuring both emerging musicians and well-known professional pianists from the local community—highlighting collaboration, inclusion, and talent.
