WELCOME TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES

Established in 1953 by a group of concerned parents, Community Resources Staten Island (CRSI) has grown into one of the area’s most experienced comprehensive voluntary service providers. Embracing the philosophy that “what matters most is what you do with what you have,” our mission is to provide people of all ages and levels of ability, who have an IDD (intellectual/developmental disability) and/or mental health diagnosis, the opportunities and experiences needed to achieve the highest level of independence, reach their potential, and lead rewarding, productive lives as fully participating and contributing members of the community.

CRSI’s wide range of services, which are designed to provide a lifetime continuum of care, includes: Residential Services with fifteen IRA’s & five supportive apartments, Day Habilitation (3450 Victory Blvd. 10314 & 191 Port Richmond Ave. 10302), Supplemental Day Habilitation, Recreation & Respite, Supported Employment, Pathway to Employment, Community Habilitation, Family Support/Services, Vocational Training/Employment, and General/Special Education/Universal Pre-K, Pre-K3 at the Community Resources Preschool (3651 Richmond Road 10306).
